Is Eat Stop Eat a Scam?

The answer is no. Eat Stop Eat is a legitimate weight loss plan. It is an e-book filled with useful tips and information on how to lose weight from a combination of intermittent fasting and weight training.

Here are just a couple of testimonials from satisfied customers of Eat Stop Eat:

Hi Brad, Eat Stop Eat is the easiest way to lose weight. If you're tired of all the complicated diets out there, just give a try to this way of intermittent fasting. Just think about it, do nothing and lose weight. In my first week I lost 8.8 pounds. After that a little less, but I'm still losing. I want to thank Brad for giving us this simple solution and for his work documenting the facts about this way of life. Because you really can make this a part of your lifestyle. Can you see yourself incorporating your actual diet into your lifestyle? With this, you really can. Just try it!

All the best,
Cristian

Brad, I have been "using" the ESE method for about 4 weeks now in addition to doing some of Craig's TT exercises about 2-3 times a week and I have definitely seen a difference in the way my clothes fit. I haven't really been weighing myself because as you know, muscle weighs more than fat! ESE is sooooo easy! I fast 2 days a week and I drink lots of water (in addition to some coffee and diet soft drinks, but mostly water!) whenever I feel the 'hunger pains'. When my 24hr fast is over, I try to eat a reasonable meal and don't worry about counting calories.

All I can say is that it's soooooo easy (AND FREE - the fasting that is!) I don't know why more people don't try the method. I told a friend I was fasting 2 days a week and she commented that "can't be good for you", but I didn't get a chance to tell her about the program to explain the benefits. I think that says it all (in a nutshell)...good luck!

Hey Brad, I'm not even sure if you knew I was doing Eat Stop Eat, I didn't really mention it to many people, not for any particular reason, except that I just usually keep eating and exercise routines to myself unless someone asks.

You may or may not know, but during my pregnancy with Owen I gained a LOT of weight. It was/is extremely stressful for me and gave me substantial motivation to lose it all. I began Eat Stop Eat in November '08 and I am still following it. I've mixed Eat Stop Eat with a resistance training and intervals program and so far I've managed to lose 72 pounds since my heaviest weight during my pregnancy.

I've set a weight goal that is actually less than my pre-pregnancy weight and I was going to email you when I reached that goal, just to let you know that Eat Stop Eat worked for me! But since I'm pretty close to the I'm emailing you now. I am proud of how far I've come so far, but it's still a little tender for me to discuss specific numbers of pounds gained during my pregnancy, but Eat Stop Eat has truly helped me in many ways.

Thanks,
Lindsay Gillis (Friend of the Family)

I am a physical therapist, and follow nutrition research closely. I purchased your e-book and read it in one sitting. Usually, I have been unimpressed with the literature/programs that I see, but when I read your book, the logic and science behind the program clicked for me.

To make a long story short, I began the Eat Stop Eat program at the beginning of March, and after one month, I lost 5-6 pounds. My body weight exercises and clubbell training continue to progress and I feel great on the fasting days. I have avoided being too obsessive about the duration of my fasts, sticking with 22-24 hours on Monday and Thursday each week. I am pretty good at maintaining quality nutrition on the other days, but I do enjoy a chocolate dessert at times.

I have already had several people comment on my more lean appearance, and I see it in the mirror.

Cheers,
Greg Redfern

Brad, I am now at my perfect weight of 170 pounds – I started at 185 pounds – I feel better and have more energy – Thanks to the Eat stop Eat program – it’s easy and simple – plus for one day – I don’t have to think about fixing breakfast and Lunch.

And to know that I am giving my body a much needed rest, so it can detoxify and keep me healthy is a great peace of mind. The Eat Stop Eat program is for the thinking individual. I appreciate all the scientific background that comes with the program. No gimmicks – just the facts. I love it
